Pros
Great salary and bonus potential. Good benefits as a health product company. High-performing people that go the extra mile to do a good job. Very high standard and expectations from management regarding the employees. Helps to weed out this slackers and underachievers. Company promoted an environment where people were not afraid to speak up- doubt that will continue post-integration with Alcon.
Cons
Since the integration with Alcon, it has been very confusing environment. New policies and practices are not implemented very well, typically in a very rushed, last-minute fashion. Causes a lot of overwork or work that needs to be redone because management were unsure of what was needed in the first place. Career ladders are hard to find so it is difficult to plan/manage career development. People are overworked which is causing a drop in morale.
