Pros
Certain managers are great people. Fantastic way to build your resume. Working with people that recognize what talents you have and then capitalizing on those talents is great. I learned a lot about multitasking as well as chemistry best practices.
Cons
Some stagnation in enthusiasm persistent across the company. I saw many great people leave the company with the merge with Alcon. It is important to remember each individual reaches a point where they cannot proceed up the ladder. Upward mobility was limited and thus many people had to leave the company.
