Pros
Scale, money, some of the tech is interesting, working at huge scales brings sometimes interesting problems. Willingness to spend like a drunken sailor on shiny new things.
Cons
Wasteful, people are treated as human robots. Meat for the meat grinder. Huge amount of turnover. Laid people off by email while they were traveling. They didn't even ground everyone for the day they laid off so many people. Very stressful environment for no reason other than people and management make it that way. Dogs eat dogs. Poor engineering practices generally speaking. Not infrequent to see people driven to breakdowns or weeping in the office. Churn and burn.
