Pros

Great benefits package. The campus is beautiful. Thousand Oaks is a nice city to raise a family. The intern program is really developed and comes with a lot of perks; e.g. paid apartments, lunch and learns with executives, relocation reimbursement, etc.

Cons

The company grew too fast and having trouble adapting. Many processes are inefficient and upper management relunctant to change. The entry level salaries are also really low compared to other biotech/pharm companies. Possible to move up vertically, but unlikely to move around laterally.

Pros

Work from home flexibility and the summer and winter shutdown periods are a nice benefit. Good health insurance.

Cons

Management style can be controlling and micromanaging with expectations that shift without clear communication. Employees are held to high standards but not always given the support or clarity needed to meet them. Performance concerns are documented quickly without full context being considered. Culture does not match the company’s public image.
