Pros

Culture at the local offices is pretty good, there are some ambitious team members, some people actually try to do their jobs.

Cons

Management is terrible. I thought this was a Tier 1 company and once upon a time it was, but the current management is terrible. They promise transparency but aren’t. Very shady business. They claimed no lay offs due to Covid but since May have let many people go under the radar. CEO told everyone to lie about salary cuts during an all hands, my team and I believ it’s so the company can keep its name out of the media. Managers are more worried about their jobs than supporting their team members, especially during the pandemic. No true go to market story or differentiators, most of the sales here are from pre-existing relationships that people have brought over from previous companies. Some sales leaders can’t even pitch, one wonders how they even got those positions. Account Managers are overworked, causing campaign issues, delayed communication. Marketing strategy is a joke (but the department does try). HIGH, HIGH turnover. Many of the knowledgable people have left. C-Suite was pushed out and replaced by people from the parent company who are not industry leaders, but instead have consulting/finance backgrounds. We did a huge reorg this year, basically splitting the company apart, so everyone works in silos. Senior Management team also insured that bonuses are unattainable for this year with a “we’ll see what happens later this year” attitude.

Pros

Amobee had really great people.

Cons

Everything since they were acquired... it's survival mode for everyone that stayed.
