Pros

The training team was fantastic, and you meet some really great people.

Cons

They talk you up as if you’re going to make SO much money, when in reality you have to work 10x as hard to make only $500, not including your salary. They cut all the sales rep’s pay earlier this year but MGMT went along just fine. There’s no room for advancement if you are not one of the golden children. Management doesn’t help, they play favorites, they fired their BEST sales rep over something minor. They don’t care if you have health or family issues, they’ll try to get you to quit by treating you poorly. They preach that they are a family company, yet it’s a bunch of snakes everywhere that you look. When you feel like you’re drowning, they’ll just push you further and further under most of the lead that you get are fake or not real phone numbers/contractors, and more than half of them has absolutely no clue how you got their information. Contractors spent thousands of dollars to not make any money whatsoever. Best part of it all is once you put in your resignation, they cancel your health insurance immediately but then ask you to pay over $800 to hold onto it for a little bit longer. And their exit interview email asks personal questions such as where you are going, your new title, and what your salary is going to be… Pretty sure they’re not allowed to ask that. I would not be surprised if they went bankrupt in the next five years.

Thank you for sharing your review. We’re incredibly proud of our training program and the dedicated trainers who make it exceptional. A great deal of effort has gone into developing the program, and we’re thrilled to see it positively impact so many team members. We understand that sales can be a challenging field, which is why we’ve designed our compensation packages to include a solid base salary and competitive commission structures to fairly reward your hard work and dedication. That said, we’re deeply saddened to hear about your experience with management and how you were treated. Creating a supportive and respectful environment where everyone feels valued is a top priority for us. We also recognize the importance of providing fresh, reliable leads, and we’re actively exploring improvements to our CRM processes and lead distribution systems. We encourage you to reach out to our HR team at hr@angi.com to share more details about your experience with lead processes and management. Your feedback is invaluable as we strive to improve. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!

Pros

The culture is generally positive, and leadership is accessible. Management is willing to meet with employees and listen to concerns. There are talented people throughout the organization, and the work can be rewarding if you enjoy sales and helping businesses grow.

Cons

The biggest challenge is the compensation structure. The company promotes uncapped commissions, but many employees feel earnings are effectively controlled through continually increasing quotas and changing performance targets. Revenue and nominal goals are adjusted so frequently that it can feel like the finish line is always moving. What's particularly frustrating is that the majority of the sales team often struggles to reach 100% of quota, yet goals continue to rise. This creates the perception that compensation expense is being managed through quota increases rather than by allowing top performers to fully benefit from the revenue they generate. Over time, this can discourage high achievers. Employees who consistently perform well are often expected to deliver significantly more results each year just to maintain the same level of compensation. When exceptional performance is met with ever-increasing targets instead of proportionally increasing rewards, motivation suffers.
