Pros

This has been one of most uplifting training experiences I have personally had. I feel like I've learned so much while being able to learn by doing. However, the best part of my experience thus far is having the pleasure to work with such exceptional trainers. They create an insanely positive atmosphere that not only allows but encourages growth and success.

Cons

I am eventually moving to San Diego and since California is one of the states we can't work with that is definitely something I need to figure out since I know there are so many career opportunities here at Angi. I feel like since it's an online platform and remote job, there would be a little more flexibility with that.

Thank you for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear that you've had such a positive training journey and that our trainers have created an environment that fosters growth and success. Regarding your concern, we are approved to operate in approximately 34 states, but in areas where we are restricted, it's due to local and state regulations. We highly recommend connecting with your manager and HR as you plan your move.

Excellent work atmosphere with fun, friendly and intelligent people! Besides the culture, the work/life balance is great! I feel very fortunate to have this career that Angi has provided me!

Cons

A lot of org changes over the years has been somewhat difficult to navigate at times.

Pros

Good flexibility with remote work and PTO.

Cons

Revolving door of leadership and talent in general. They had an initiative to consolidate their brands under one platform, told their employees they wouldn't be replaced after finishing it, then decided to layoff 75% of their staff afterwards (blaming it on AI). Good luck ever getting promoted or a sizable raise when you get a new manager every 6 months. Higher level roles are almost always hired externally rather than promoted internally. Anyone who has worked closely to the product roadmap and finance can clearly see revenue declining year over year. A sinking ship to definitely avoid.
