Pros

Having Aon looks good on a resume

Cons

In May of 2020 Aon announced it would cut all employees pay by 20% until further notice. They claim this was done because they didn’t want to lay anyone off during covid. Management allowed you the opportunity to fight the 20% pay cut, all you had to do was provide your bank statements, stock information, and any other documents that showed how much money you have. Aon claimed they needed this information because they wanted to be sure that you did in fact need your full pay. After the pay cut many people at Aon had their workload doubled. This type of arrogance from Aon wasn’t limited to just that; it was in everything. Toxic work environment in most of departments.

Pros

Clearly defined career ladder Exposure to a wide range of clients and projects.

Cons

Inconsistent team culture. Some teams feel clique-oriented, so it's difficult for new employees to integrate. Training can be limited, with a strong expectation to learn independently.
