Pros
If you enjoy hanging out with your co-workers, the quarterly mixers give you an opportunity to relax with peers and management alike. Applied also makes an effort to scatter special days throughout the year (free bagels, affy tapples, and other treats)
Cons
Most positions outside of support have no compensation for travel or overtime. Also, don't count on big raises unless you receive a promotion. Management practices are varied across the divisions.
