Pros

I've worked at 2 other companies after my time with Applied Systems, and those 2 companies pale in comparison to how Applied Systems welcomes their new hires. The on-boarding and training that I've received from Applied is the best training that I've ever received from any company that I've worked for thus far. They REALLY make sure that you have everything you need before you hit the ground running on your own. I would 10/10 recommend Applied Systems; the work environment is not only hard-working, but very friendly as well; you easily get comfortable with your team and environment.

Cons

There aren't much cons to speak of, if any. I guess one "con" would be that they often have their employees try new technologies a bit too abruptly, and it kind of felt like everyone was hopping from one platform to the next a bit too quickly. That caused employees to have to constantly learn how these new technologies worked, but like I said, I would argue that that isn't much of a con, as it shows that the company is always eager and willing to learn the best possible workflows and processes for its employees.

Pros

The teammates that I worked with were generally really great. Decent opportunity for learning

Cons

The benefits were not great, 3 year vesting to get a 401k match, insurance was sub par, time off was below average. In addition to this the management team is having a lot of turnover along with getting rid of people systematically (or what feels targeted). This is following some acquisitions that could have been great but because the teams are all operating in silos with what feels like no cohesive direction from the senior leadership. The products that are being sold are very old feeling/looking with no real changes on the horizon. Pair this with high level executive leadership changes that are pointing to a potential sale of the company which likely will come with more changes and loss of employment.
