Pros
First mover advantage on the product profile .. Not much competition , so wide open field for generating sales. Good snacks in kitchen. Good engineering talent.
Cons
Awful engineering culture.. Internal politics and one-upmanship in every meeting . You can feel the tension in the room in most meetings. Original code was very monolithic and hard to understand. Company is trying to move to a more SaaS style in development. HR is trying to improve the culture , but not sure how much they can influence given the seniority of engineering management.
