Pros
I value my ability to work without someone breathing down my neck. Companies that encourage micromanagement make me feel stifled and unmotivated to give my best. ATD treats me with the respect and trust that I’m due. I can work on projects at my own pace. As long as I finish within a reasonable amount of time, I can do my job as I see fit.
Cons
It’s a load of hard work. If you’re prepared for it it’s not that bad. Otherwise you’re going to feel blindsided.
