      Very politically charged atmosphere - Strategic Sourcing Atlantic Health System Employee Review

      Pros

      Salary is competitive. Cash-balance pension plan for all full time employees, which is unheard of at most companies. Health insurance is outstanding. Paid time off (vacation + sick days + personal days) is very generous. In-house day care. Benefits are great.

      Cons

      As other reviewers have mentioned, very politically charged atmosphere. Bully management isn't unheard of, and favoritism is rampant. 20% work hard, while the other 80% coast toward retirement. Overspending is a real problem.

      Pros

      Wonderful colleagues. Patients are treated well. Doctors, nurses and techs work hard and smart. Always something fun or worthwhile to participate in. Amazing people to work with. 100% deserve a best place to work. I loved Atlantic Health overall. 5 star with a bad apple spoiling the experience.

      Cons

      Poor communication at the middle management level. Incomplete, misleading communication on specific expectations, poor follow through on feedback, supervisor opinions formed without opportunity from employee to clarify. Very poor process efficiency and unwillingness to hear suggestions or solutions ... we've done it this way for a long time. This goes against corporate I in PRIDE. Slow to implement change and change is poorly implemented without use cases or thinking things through.. from my perspective. Supervisor words and actions are mismatched. Feedback without follow through for clarity.
