Pros

Free training and certifications. You could travel often for work and can accumulate miles, hotel and car rental points for free personal travel.

Cons

No work-life balance. Your top priority should always be the client, even before your personal life. Management only cares about keeping both Accenture and the client happy all the time. Even if the client is asking for deliverables outside scope or shortens the deadlines management always says yes. You are forced to meet the deadlines even if the clients wants to change requirements at the middle of the sprint. It is not a place where your ideas and contributions are appreciated. There is no culture, it is just a software factory.

Pros

A really nice office with perks and company culture that come from Accenture.

Cons

There is a prioritization with getting certifications and doing a lot of tasks outside of full time client work, just to get promoted. If you are in the bench and it’s a slow season, there is a high risk of getting laid off. You will lose your sense of purpose all for the trendy AI culture. The company thrives on buzz terms and marketing solutions rather than actually solving anything.
