Pros

Market relevant remuneration, gadget allowance, some senior managers (but very few) willing to mentor.

Cons

Long hours (due to understating statements of work) simply to win business. Account Managers nowhere to be seen when stakeholders on client side use bullying tactics to get what they want. Accenture promote sycophant graduates to management level positions and before you know it, you are taking vague orders off an inexperienced person 10 years younger than you. Being a sandbag - you will not grow. You will be left to rot on an account with zero prospects of growth, support or direction. You're just a sandbag with a marginal rate that someone else benefits from when all the hard work is done by others on half the salary.

Pros

A really nice office with perks and company culture that come from Accenture.

Cons

There is a prioritization with getting certifications and doing a lot of tasks outside of full time client work, just to get promoted. If you are in the bench and it’s a slow season, there is a high risk of getting laid off. You will lose your sense of purpose all for the trendy AI culture. The company thrives on buzz terms and marketing solutions rather than actually solving anything.
