Pros

Flexible hours and work from home option.

Cons

No appreciation shown to employees. When you have some critical feedback or complain about long working hours and stress e.g., the manager will not take it seriously

Dear former colleague, Thank you very much for your honest words and the time you took for your feedback. It's great to see that our hybrid working models are so well received by you – we are very proud of them and live flexibility in our everyday work! Since appreciation, trust and a transparent communication (both within the team and with the manager) are fundamental aspects of our company culture, we are a little surprised by your assessment. Just as we offer flexible working hours, it is also up to our colleagues to reduce possible overtime individually. If this is not possible, it is also important to proactively approach the manager to evaluate possible solutions. Our employees should be able to develop freely, so it is important to place these topics with the manager in the regular feedback meetings or independently. We are deeply sorry that you couldn’t benefit from these conversations. Furthermore, as part of our employee survey "Employee Voices", we annually record the mood within the #BASFHubBerlin and derive the need for optimization and potential for improvement. We wish you much success and all the best for your professional and private future! Kind regards, Mareike G. – Local HR Berlin #TeamBASF

Pros

Great benefits, hybrid & remote roles, great colleagues to work with. Great vacation /time off. Helpful colleagues

Cons

Reorganizations (roughly 3 years), IT roles dwindling in North America(moving to India), teams can get very silo-ed, “not my role” = not helping you (when you are looking for answers/assistance), currently seeing a lot of movement out of New Jersey (roles moving to other parts of the country), some organizational charts can be confusing, huge organization(can be difficult at times pinpointing the exact team you may need to work with)
