Pros

It's an mnc albiet small.

Cons

The india office is the dumping ground for the us office, which means that all the low level work done at bts operations is executed at the India office. You are not required to think, innovate, or consult. Just copy paste stuff and attend calls. If you do not want a career, but just a job to keep yourself occupied, join this place. Most ppl actually work fewer than 3-4 hrs per day. Rest of the time it's gossip time or the great indian time pass. it's not a tech company. It's a training co with some bits of tech being used during their training sessions. The culture is like that of the early call centers, lots of liaisons and flirtations, very little in the way of hr oversight. It's very ugly and nauseating. If you are not that type, then you are isolated. Hr does the politics execution, which means that if the top boss decides that they dislike somebody, then they are harassed, traumatised, isolated until they leave. Zero hr policy, code of conduct, or even responsible people in this company. Most employees are not the most intelligent, innovative folks that you typically find in indian it cos, so you will not be learning, but you may need to dumb down to adapt.

Cons

In the 2 times I have worked for BTS I have been misled on the environment/situation I would be working in. Which has led to serious issues. The first time, I was recruited I moved my family across the country for a position that had 16 turnovers over a 2 year period due to the toxic government leadership. I was not given any heads up and was put in a seriously challenging position for both my career and financial wellbeing. The second time I took a job with BTS, I was told the contract had just been awarded for 5 years. However, once I arrived, again having moved my family across the country, I found out the contract was on a 6 month extension. There are other issues on the administrative side, and all I will recommend is to document everything. You WILL need the proof sometime down the road. All in all, I would say at times BTS was good, but mostly they operate in the morally gray to keep that top line up. Was fired over voicemail, for not working overtime (just working a standard 40 hour work week at night!) while I was recovering from the flu. No notice, no conversation, just canned. If management had taken a moment to speak with me, I could have provided email proof I had approval to take a slight step back while I and my family all recovered from the flu.
