Pros
Typical of a manufacturing facility there is always work to be done and product to get out the door. That means there is always something to work on. Safety was a priority and point of emphasis from the top down. Very few lay-offs occurred even when the economy was in recession.
Cons
Limited development opportunities and "market competitive" salaries did not compare favorable to others in the same industry. Many high performing employees went to other companies for this reason. Of the very few employee appreciation events were held some even got cut all together like annual dinner or picnic.
