Pros

Able to gain a multilevel capability in the field of mechanical & electrical if one intends to do so as it is an independent work environment. You have all the authority to make things work but you have to do it all by yourself.

Cons

Local benefits differs with that from that of HQ. Emphasize teamwork but in actual fact isn't as eventually has to do it yourself. All is just an act to the Dictator to see and know. Historical data shows that one can't work long in the field of quality. Only the old-timers of the company remains long since they are the Dictator's favorites. Company expects on-time delivery of work and report to work. Given warning letter is a norm though.

Pros

Lower level groups were great to work with. The job itself was routine enough that it was easy to learn. Its a great entry job as you have to pick up many skills in a short period of time.

Cons

Management has no idea what it takes to do the tasks they ask of us with little time. Everything is on rush and half the equipment is outdated and constantly failing. New equipment takes forever to validate, if it ever does. You're constantly asked to help other understaffed groups, even if yours is also understaffed. Communication does not go far with upper management as most of them are also overloaded with work and don't actually understand what is needed for jobs to be done.
