Pros
Fantastic Benefits, a sincere desire to be forward thinking about cultural issues, some of the smartest people you can imagine concentrated in one company.
Cons
FutureAdvisor is gone, except in name. The company has not only lost sight of their mission, I don't even think they know what their mission is at all. There isn't a robo-advisor that you've heard of that's done less for their clients in the last 2 years. Worse, the co-founders have lost the transparent candidness that made them good to work for and it's painful to see them struggle as it results in tunnel vision decision making, forgetting about the people. and completely ignoring loyalty and human development even from top performers. All leadership is hired external despite incredibly qualified personnel, politics rule the day, and morale is as low as it's ever been. This is a wing of Blackrock, for better or worse, subject to big company bureaucracy... not an innovative startup that's going to change anything.
