Pros

I enjoyed working at Blank Rome. We had a very pretty office, and my attorneys and coworkers were lovely. There was a lot of continuing education provided by the firm, especially the IT department. My computer, legal, and writing skills improved exponentially while working here. I never had to work a great deal of overtime, and my attorneys were very appreciative when I did. Even the highest level partners in our particular location were friendly and pleasant. They encouraged lots of fun activities like decorating office doors and wearing costumes for Halloween, and a Secret Santa for Christmas. They give very nice Christmas parties. I am very happily retired, but it was a great place to finish up my career.

Cons

I wish they would have had 401K matching funds. It would have made a big difference in my retirement cushion.

Pros

The company feels like home, family-like, they say they respect home-life and has a lot of attorneys with real family and adult lives. Most ppl are friendly.

Cons

Ofc, that does not apply to junior associates. Partners hog work away from junior associates, partners are not interested in training juniors. no middle associates to train due to burnt out / low pay life. The firm has a reputation of churning out young female attorneys and lays them off once they feel burnt out.
