Pros

The #1 reason to work at Boostability is for the people. You will work with people who truly care about you, and many of them will become your closest friends. Boostability has some of the most amazing managers I have ever worked with. Their enthusiasm and commitment to the company shows in all they do. They want their employees to succeed! There are definitely opportunities for advancement if someone wants to stay with the company. There were almost 100 internal promotions in 2019! That means that of the ~400 employees, nearly 25% had career growth! Boostability 8has an open-door policy that they honor. They openly invite feedback, and are always willing to listen to concerns. This goes all the way up to the executive level. If I went unannounced to talk with Gavan Thorpe (our CEO), he would give me his time. This is a quality that I never seen before. The executive team is also committed to communicating with the employees. There is a level of transparency in all they do. They have regular "Ask Me Anything" meeting where they field employee questions right on the spot. What other company do you know of that will do that? The culture here is one-of-a-kind. There an intangible energy and excitement that you can feel as soon as you walk through the door. Boostability hosts many fun events that show their employees that they really care. This year we went to two movie premiers, hosted "Boost Games", had a Fantasy Football pick-em league with cash prizes, brought our whole company & their families to Lagoon, celebrated with many holiday activities, and had a Super Smash Bros competition! Boostability is also dedicated to helping out their community. They have a program called BoostCares which is used to give back. As a company in, in 2019, we raised money and did service for the Utah Humane Society, ran the Heber Half for Autism, picked up garbage along the Murdock Trail, helped out Hoofbeats for Healing, tied blankets for local refugees, and did a food drive for the Utah Food Bank. I am so impressed with the resources dedicated to this program.

Cons

There is always room for improvement, but I believe management is continually striving to address any weaknesses that come up.

Pros

Direct management was incredible. Some fun activities and team bonding

Cons

Upper management went south really fast, blame it on the industry but when multiple rounds of layoffs hit it felt more about profit margin then the people.
