The 401K and free coffee!
Company changed and for the worst once it public. Hoteling was implemented. Pink slips were given to often. Camaraderie went out the door. I enjoyed BAH for several years, but decided to leave with the new "IMPLEMENTED" culture.

The people are legitimately passionate about the work. It makes a huge different. The have some helpful benefits as well. They have a large network of very knowledgeable people and it's really easy to navigate and connect with people that you need to.
The pay is little low. Especially for the cost of living on the Central Coast of California. I know several people that work the same or similar position somewhere else in the US (where their cost of living for their area is a fraction of what it is here) and they're making $80K - $110K. Because of this, many of our positions are understaffed because no one wants to move to an area where they're paid more and pay less to survive.Continue reading
