Pros

Company culture is super welcoming. Benefits package overall is good. Pay is highly competative, and co workers were almost 100% awesome people.

Cons

staffing limitations made workload stressful environment. Inter-departmental communication needs more than a little bit of work.

Pros

- Strong support system - plenty of scaffolding for teaching and learning - very meaningful and empowering work that leaves me feeling like my work makes a difference

Cons

- The work is difficult sometimes. Children are unpredictable and I have come home from some devastating work days more than a few times. You need to be mentally resilient. - Need to be ok with medical emergencies and general grossness--they are kids, after all - the pay across the field is just okay. It is at best competitive with public schooling, though their pay is about as good as childcare gets these days

Pros

Do hire a diverse population of teachers in terms of age, gender ethnicity and orientation. Children as always are there if you're doing this job you love kids

Cons

Most sites do not offer a set consistent schedule, using rotating shifts. The lack of staffing and support will force staff to also never be able to plan things such as break time. Rigid with sticking only to curriculum from Company book even on days when severely understaffed. Even if you are hired specifically for a particular classroom where you are most familiar and best skilled to work, they will often push you into things such as infant or toddler even if you have physical limitations such as back, bending or carpal tunnel. Very inflexible about your PTO if it doesn't fit in
