Pros

They Bring you food and the girls, I.e. the little account managers/Talent Handlers, are all smoking hot. And that's about all that they're good for. They deliver 0 value to anyone other than the client, and even then, they have issues securing after work due to the high turnover.

Cons

I was a Brooksource contractor at Aramark for over a year, and these people are shady. First off, these people are recruiters and account managers and i think there a few people who run back office support. And that's essentially the entire company. I was sold on a 6-12 month SOW to provide integration mapping. When i signed the contract the actual scope of work was listed as "TBD". They assured me that i would be there fr 6-12 months at the least and that i would be converted to a full time employee. I didn't think anything of it at the time. But what i did not realize is that they had intentionally mislead from the get go and transferred all of the risk onto me. Even as a contractor you assume most of the risk because you are a temporary worker, but without a defined time period you are put in a position where you have 0 protection. So in short they lied to me, surprised me at the last minute, and handled/manipulated me into thinking that this wasnt a big deal. In the end this did not affect me. I ended up staying there a year because i'm good at what i do. I was however jerked around the whole time and felt powerless doe to the situation i had committed myself to. Other people were not as lucky. In the year that i was there i saw 20 different contractors come and go. But throughout the entire process the contractors, including myself, were bullied and intimidated. One was told that he was not allowed to do anything there other than work. He was instructed that he couldn't use his phone, couldn't, use his personal email, couldn't even use google search for anything other than work. But the worst part is why they would fire you. They would call you on Friday after work and tell you that you that you had been let go. And they would refuse to go into any details citing that they weren't privy to that information. I've never seen anything like that in my life. The cowardice it takes to deliver the news by phone is beyond unacceptable. Then 10 months into my contract they called me on a Friday telling me that they had retake a drug test and If i refused i would be let go. Drug tests are inherently demeaning. and i was not amused. Basically here are the takeaways: These are not good people. The recruiters are recruiters: Over enthusiastic to the point of nausea and will deliberately lie to you. The account/talent managers are there because they are sexy girls. Nothing more. They will throw you under the buss when convenient to you. Will call you to intimidate you without knowing/caring about the details of your day to day. They are Unintelligent, and Unprofessional in the way the operate and the way they treat you. If you get a call from them, chances are you are an out of work college kid who is happy making $23/hr. But if you are a serious professional, look elsewhere. These people suck as human beings.

Pros

This company relies on growth from within, so if they see potential in you, they will help you get to that next level. There is always a huge support system around you at all times.

Cons

The amount of support can quickly turn into micromanaging, and promoting from within is great until you start protecting those who earned their title sheerly through tenure or a 'good ol' boy' system. Also, the pay is abysmal. They pay you the absolute minimum in salary and the rest is based off of commission, so even the best reps can lose everything on a clients whim, going from making almost $200K a year to $30K in the blink of an eye. They say they have protections in place for that but that's only for the people who earn the company millions of dollars for 4 consecutive years. Also, there really is no such time as a work/life balance here. They throw parties to make you think you do, but if you are out on PTO you will still be judged by your KPI's while you were out, and they expect you to pick up the phone, regardless of if you are on vacation or at your grandfathers funeral. "Still gotta keep you numbers up!"
