Promotion-winning projects are given to inner-groups, and locals are probably there to clear non-important, laborious work (differs from team to team likely). No diversity, probably 1 Singaporean to 10 expats (not sure where the abundance of EP is obtained). Also, workers in china does 996, 内卷 is inevitable and through culture one has to work the equivalent amount.
