Pros

Very good compensation and benefits. Working with lots of smart people.

Cons

Lots of bureaucracy, a lack of transparency and no stability. It was resolving door of team/department leaders entering and leaving every, single, year. Also some questionable internal transfers to team leadership with no experience in the department. Many people more interested in just CYA / protecting themselves than getting work done. The 360 review system was also very opaque, with no visibility of what was really going on. Although there is no "forced distribution" or reviews, there was a strong recommendation on sticking to an "expected distribution" or review scores leading to some forced lower grades for some employees. This lack of transparency carries through to pretty much every other part of the company from internal communication to external. Poor work-life balance since depending on your team, you have to regularly take early morning calls and late night calls. This basically means you are never really off, and still have to think about work all the time.
