Pros
- Clearly the monney. It's one of the place that pays you the most for being in a call center. At least on my departement. Best I've seen was Desjardin at 1.50$ more than here but you were asked over there to sell stuff while you help people so overall I prefer to make a little less but have a nicer job. - Working in a office is already better than being outside under rain and snow, thought its ridiculously way too cold here. - More advancement possibilities than let says a shop like BestBuy or a local PC store. - I answer to staff from Desjardins instead of mad customers for the ATM.
Cons
- It's very far from home - They won't let you leave 10-15min earlier even if there's no call since 1 houre and that the next train is in almost 2 houres. - Very very repetitive but at least simple. - It's damn cold and there's way too much white neon/light around the office, it kills my eyes. - You can't have your own little "office" with ur workstation if you do any less than 37.5houres per week. It used to be 26 and over to have ur place which was very nice but thanks for the governement to have cut in the budget... - They give you **** if you are 2min late even if there's no call at all in wait and that there's already 4-5 people ready to answer before you. - You never eat at the same houre in the phone center departement - You only get the socials advantage when you get permanant instead of temporary staff, even if you work full time. It can take most of the time 2-3 years to get it since they may have 2 per years to offer. - You have no pension for when you get old. You need to build ur money by first being permanant then put money in the actions/bourse. - The chairs and other equipement they give us is extremly crappy. Hell it would barrely cost them anything to give us good stuff.... so far I've brand my own keyboard/mouse.
