Pros
As a software Engineer, we still get to work from home 4 days of the week when all other major banks have required 4 days a week in person. CIBC cares about the work life balance and has shown that it is fair to its employees. And the new CIBC buildings downtown look amazing and is connected to union station, very convenient!
Cons
Compensation can be better, still competitive with the other major banks but obviously not with other big Tech. So they can definitely improve in this regard especially after the bank has been performing so well and stock has jumped past couple of years.
