Pros
This is a stable job with little volatility. The workload is predictable and requires little background in the field. Only basic project management knowledge is required. It is all very simple to understand. There is considerable work-life balance and the compensation is good.
Cons
It can be a very boring job with the same things over and over again. It feels very administrative and secretarial. There is very little engagement and it tends to be working with the same people in every project. Others on the team with a similar job work on different projects and it is all very siloed with very little interactions.
