      Too much red tape, forward thinking required - S&C Drone CN Employee Review

      Pros

      The people are great to work with. Most people just want to get fair paid wages for a fair days of work, but I could see the company take advantage of employees. Forcing employees to work in duties that they were not hired to perform.

      Cons

      Many innovative ideas at hand, but are all getting shot down by upper management. Upper management seems to be afraid of change, so we're stuck not really moving forward. Way too much bureaucracy and red tape to deal with. Union and management relations are extremely poor.

      Pros

      Pays decently well for first job out of college. My manager and team are very reasonable with expectations placed on new hires. Working after office hours (past 4:30pm) is extremely rare and only expected in emergencies.

      Cons

      Very slow and/or limited job growth potential. Promotions into middle management are almost purely based on reputation with middle managers who are largely people with previous field experience. This is very disadvantageous to direct-from-college hires like myself and even my current manager.
