Pros

free lunch, that is it.

Cons

Cardlytics suffers from a deep leadership problem. The executive team appears misaligned and lacking in vision. Many director-level individuals have moved together from past companies, creating a leadership echo chamber that resists fresh ideas or accountability. Strategic decisions are often unclear, morale is low, and there’s little evidence of a culture that values its employees, especially when times get tough. For those looking to join, I’d strongly recommend asking tough questions about leadership stability, internal mobility, and how the company has handled recent changes. This seemed like a sinking ship 1. Poor treatment of employees, especially visa holders 2. Lack of strategic direction from leadership 3. Political and insular executive culture 4. Unstable work environment

Pros

The platform drives real performance results and provides invaluable insights to clients. Our clients love us. The sales team has every right to win with clients and there's still more upside to capture. Very strong XFN Partnerships. Everyone here works hard and brings their best self to work. People first and team mentality.

Cons

There's been a lot of changes but the business is stabilizing now.

Pros

Cardlytics is one of those rare places where you can see the full picture: strong leadership, a product that genuinely works, and a team that believes in what they're building. The data asset we sit on is valuable to everyone in market (advertisers and publishers), and the people who've been brought in to lead this next chapter understand both the opportunity and what it takes to execute. Is it without challenges? No. But the vision is clear, the right people are in the room, and the momentum is real. If you're someone who wants to be part of a comeback story and do meaningful work along the way, this is the place to be.

Cons

As a public company in turnaround, the stock doesn't always reflect the work happening on the ground, and that gap can be frustrating if you're watching the ticker. This chapter isn't for everyone, but for the right person who thrives in a build environment and wants to be part of something meaningful, the upside both personally and professionally, is very real.
