Pros

Brilliant coworkers with a ton of energy and no ego, a great office environment and incredibly positive reception of our product/brand/Company from the outside make Casper an organization I'm proud and excited to be a part of. Since business is booming and the cofounders are inarguably the hardest working people at the company, not having a clear vision of where the company will be in 6/12/24 months is exciting—not scary. I'm confident that Casper will continue to get bigger, better and smarter each month moving forward for a very long time. Our opportunities for growth—as a business and as individuals within the organization—seem limitless. Strong culture of perks (free lunch, unlimited snacks, fitness stipend, happy hours, lunch & learn, monthly outings + more) reinforces that will continue to celebrate our success as long as we continue to work incredibly hard & execute.

Cons

Typical growing pains of rapid growth startups. Not enough processes are in place for on-boarding and growing vertically/horizontally in the organization, but management seems to be working on them right now.

Pros

The WTC office is nice

Cons

Most recently Casper moved to a 401k plan that is highly restrictive. It doesn’t allow selecting individual funds to build portfolio, and the funds selected have extremely high cost ratio. Looks like an extreme and desperate measure to save on admin overhead. Also, every year Casper discounts gets deeper and more frequently. The ads are boring and monotonous. Look at Casper a few years back and what it looks like now.
