I have been working at Casper (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent pay and benefits, work space, and some decently honest people.

    Cons

Really fake culture, really yuppie-like Manhattan employees, very little diversity, very little room for upward development, boring and repetitive work, fake titles, no training for other departments.

I have been working at Casper full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Casper takes hiring very seriously and consistently brings in not only talented and skilled people, but genuinely good human beings that are passionate about their work. It's a real pleasure to be surrounded by such good people.

    Cons

Typical growing pains of a young company: constantly shifting company priorities, lots of uncertainty, deficient management structures. These inherent problems can make it challenging in some cases to focus on personal professional development.

    Advice to Management

Continue to invest in employees' career development to ensure people have the opportunities and resources to grow their skills as the company becomes more specialized.

I have been working at Casper part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Well you get paid on time and Bi-weekly and it's above other retail companies.
But this company is underdeveloped and their ideal of a retail pop store setting is a bad joke gone really bad. Walking around pop kiosk store for 8 hours a day can get really boring when you have no customers for hours. Plus your great manager Team doesn't do anything all day but stand around the cash wrap talking to each other or playing on the laptop all day.

    Cons

The cons to this Job are many besides the fact your manager Team doesn't do anything but talk to each other & play on a laptop all day. They will send you to the storage room to take care of the shipments that come in on a weekly basis.
So you will be lugging mattresses and pillows down flights of stairs to the stock room, while your management team does nothing but play on a laptop.

As a Sleep Specialist / Sales Associate you get paid $16/ $17 a-hour depending on if you are Part-Time or Full-Time. For all the extra work they don't tell you, you will be stuck doing, this company should pay it's Associates $20 a-hour.

    Advice to Management

The great manager Team doesn't do anything all day but stand around the cash wrap talking to each other or playing on the laptop all day.
I wonder myself why Casper ever has Manager's ?
they don't change the bed sheets or pillow cases and they don't help with taking down the new inventory to the stock room

Everyone is friendly, collaborative, and good natured. They are engaged in their work and passionate about changing the sleep industry. It's a joy to come into work each day!
