Pros
Higher pay than market, good benefits, can be quite laid back at times.
Cons
1. Lack of cultural diversity. Full of Malays who sometimes don't converse in English even when there are overseas vendors in the meeting. Even when recruiting, they have a certain % of Malay candidates that they need to reach before prioritising other races, regardless of the person's skills. 2. Not the best place for growth. The whole time I was here I had a lot of seniors telling me that this is a 'retirement company', and I felt it when I had a lot of initiatives that I wanted to do for Celcom products but nobody is willing to support or drive them even with a concrete business case. Most top management are too comfortable with where they are now.
