I worked at Celcom full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Relaxed environment. People are friendly and have a great "eating together" culture. People are given empowerment to really explore new projects.

    Cons

Slow go to market as need CEO okay to proceed on any project even small ones. Slower response from internal team due to slow paced culture. Lack of obvious career progression due to everything must get CEO approval - including promotion cycle; interdepartment transfer. Can be havoc at times with constant re-org that never ends and with no proper announcement or timeline.

    Advice to Management

Please formalize re-org. Have a proper handover timeline process ( not over coffee) to ensure all proper documents and activities are handed over smoothly. Have a proper documented process that is shared via intranet - not based on who you talk to . Proper governance that is beyond CEO - CEO not supposed to approved every single thing in a 3k+ organization .
