Pros
Internal training courses were great to have
Cons
As a white person, I remember working in chemonics and being disgusted at the comments and remarks of my white colleagues. Some of these racist comments came from execs. I hear that chemonics is hiring a lot more black staff, but the same racist infested minds still work there, and I don't know how different that may be. I saw how white talentless staff were pushed to manager and Director positions, while minorities with more experience and capabilities were never given a chance, or same opportunities. This is how awful chemonics is, an HR staff once said, "I don't understand what USAID wants us to do, it's not our fault minorities are not smart enough to pass our entry test...affirmative action won't work at chemonics."
