      Pros

      They'll say all the right things to make you feel special at first, so you feel like it's worth the stress.

      Cons

      Prepare to be gaslit. They purposefully keep teams small so they can exploit you for labor. extremely lacking in diversity. no interest in actually making change as long as upper management keeps making money. product actually has structural issues because they are also so stingy with money Stay far away if possible. Don't believe me? Take a look at all the negative interview experiences. It's clear they've asked current employees to flood Glassdoor with positive reviews to bury negative ones.

      Pros

      - I'm surrounded by highly intentional, motivated, experienced folks, but nobody has a big ego about it. - I'm given plenty of autonomy for deep focus time without being slowed down by too many processes or meetings. - We're each encouraged to use AI tools in whatever way works best for us, which is empowering and allows for a lot of experimentation. - The company and culture are healthy.

      Cons

      - As a fully-remote company across many time zones, it can sometimes be isolating.

      Pros

      - Great product that customers love - Wonderful culture - thoughtful, low ego, autonomous and flexible - Great and talented people - people are smart, eager to help, a mix of tenured people with lots of historical context and newer people brining fresh perspectives and ideas.

      Cons

      Not really a con, but sometimes being fully remote can make building connections with people outside of your immediate bubble a bit hard. But because Close has been remote for so long (well before Covid) it has done a really good job of making remote work easier - and most people here really love it.
