Home away from home! Exactly the hope. We spend 33% of our awake hours at work. If it didn't feel like family - assuming you have a high functioning family :), then life is too short. As a family we do have our squabbles and personality conflicts, but we should always be trying to improve. As far as high deductible insurance, yeah, I'm feelin' it too. The key is to take advantage of any healthy stretch that you have and store up your deductible in your HSA. After that (from a cash flow perspective) it is just like a PPO.
