I didn't get payed during my training even though we were working on a job site. There was no proper training for the dangerous tools, just a 2 minute demonstration and then our boss would leave and expect us to do things perfectly. We worked for 8 days and then got fired because we weren't fast or good enough even though we in no way had enough training to be able to do things professionally. We were often put in very dangerous situations without any kind of protection. There were no specific days off so making plans with friends or family was impossible. In theory this job would have been amazing, but in practice is was very unorganized and a disaster. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you've had previous experience with outdoor painting and heavy duty machinery.
