I enjoyed working at the UT specifically at College of Education. I worked there for over 4 years. I would give it a 4 stars, but I had to take one off due to management. I had amazing work-life balance and flexibility. I was in the office twice a week! I liked that we closed for the winter break during December - it was a nice to reset and get ready for the new year. The insurance and benefits were good too! I was able to earn a certification while I was there.
Cons
There were limited growth opportunity within the college and I didn't want to move to the Central Office due to low wages. The wages were stagnant and outdated for a flagship University. The bureaucracy was too much and it stalled progress and process improvement. My direct supervisor was not the best and she was difficult person and she did not knowledge share. The climate of the University is just different now. I had learned what I needed to learn and I had to move onto another opportunity.
