Pros

The way the internship is set up, you will get a ton of experience on different teams that deal with different companies. I was able to visit a client site and get some work with five different companies. Everybody that I worked with was incredibly help and understood that I was an intern so a lot of the stuff I was working on I have never even seen before. I was able to work with all levels from staff 1 to senior managers. No matter who they were they made sure you were set up to be successful on your tasks. Partners in the office would also check in on me. One in particular started to go out of his way to get to know me and always stop by to say hi

Cons

The beginning of the internship was a little slow, especially when it came to technology. It took a while for the firm to get the interns set up with having access to all of the software they need and there were some things that I still didn't have even by the end of the internship. There also wasn't too much to do in unassigned down time. There were a couple of day were I would try reaching out to different teams and none of them really had any work for me, So all I would be able to do is keep reaching out and then watch educational/training videos. I also think it would have been beneficial to have a bit more technical training and software setup during the on boarding in the beginning.
