The people you work with are almost all kind, hardworking and dedicated, and are by far the best part of the job.

Management seems to have a general disdain for their workers and would replace everyone with AI if they could. The CEO will brag about trips to Mount Everest while his employees are worried about paying rent. People are overworked, underpaid, and to add insult to injury, they have just done away with the paralegal title all together. Whereas before there were four levels of paralegal you could rise through, now there are just two levels of consultant. This means that not only are there less opportunities for promotions, but also the substantial raises that would go with those promotions. You can't even justify the terrible working conditions with the fact you're getting paralegal experience because they took that away. Overall, BAL will work you to the bone for nothing and management won't even appreciate you for it.
