Pros

Honeywell tends to pay very well and has great vacation and time off benefits.

Cons

Leadership would sell the soul of every employee for a single additional point of additional guaranteed stock price gain. Their lip-service to the environment, DEI and other causes while they fight to avoid doing environmental testing on buildings that they know have asbestos and chemical spills, and sites that they know will become EPA super-fund sites the moment they close, or are allowed to be tested. Also how they brag about being environmental heroes in sites where they have done the bare, court mandated minimum, after spending fortunes in legal fees, fighting for years to deny liability, in sites where they destroyed the environment in the first place and are now required, BY LAW to make amends, and now claim to be the Great Green corporate saviors.

Pros

The team is great and people are excited to have you there. You are given value-added work and projects week 1. There are a lot of other interns at both the graduate and undergraduate level so there is a strong sense of intern community and support. If you have to relocate for the internship, complete housing is provided (they find you an apartment and pay for everything - results on the apartment itself may vary but are generally close to the office).

Cons

Varying start dates led to varying first day experience. The onboarding day for those who had it day 1 was great, but some interns got it after their first week and had little direction day 1.
