Pros

Management is easy to talk to. When you’re having personal issues they give you time off.

Cons

There’s not a lot of advancement for cooks once you reach a certain level.

Pros

The property is beautiful, and I worked with many talented and dedicated employees who genuinely cared about providing exceptional guest service. The luxury hospitality environment offers valuable experience and exposure to high standards of service.

Cons

My experience was negatively impacted by a toxic management culture that often included bullying and a lack of accountability. Employees were expected to meet demanding expectations while receiving limited training, little constructive feedback, and minimal support from leadership. When concerns about management behavior were brought to HR, I did not feel that appropriate action was taken. This left me feeling unheard and unsupported. Communication from leadership was often lacking, and employees were expected to navigate difficult situations without adequate guidance or resources. I also experienced sexual harassment during my employment, which contributed to an already challenging work environment. Overall, employee well-being and retention did not appear to be priorities. Despite my contributions to the hotel, I was not offered an exit interview when I left, which reinforced the feeling that employee feedback was not valued.
