Pros

1. Working with Family/Friends 2. Assisting in Rehabilitation of Inmates

Cons

1. Cannot remotely get ill once during training which is anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks or they will terminate your employment so if you catch covid, the flu, have a car accident, have pre-existing health conditions you need to pray nothing bad happens 2. Wardens and Upper Level Staff/HR seem to be like a clique and if you do not fit their "ideal" mold, they will terminate you. 3. Company mandates you to work 16 hour days 6 days a week especially when you are a correctional officer. You always get posted if you are a case manager or correctional counselor so you can hardly get your work completed. 4. Seems like a competition just to even get promoted or keep employment. If you remotely speak up about something that is wrong like an employee doing something illegal such as harassing other employee, you get terminated.

Pros

CC Uses cutting-edge Technologies, which is good experience for resume building; many of the Teams are collaborative; interesting work and you can believe in company goals.

Cons

Director and Manager level mgmt at corporate here do not provide guidance on projects. There is a lot of turnover on data projects because new employees are thrown into the deep end and then just blamed if results are not as expected. CC really needs more hands-on project oversight. There are also behavioral and anger issues with a couple long-time ppl as well, and this is both exhausting and (sometimes) outright humiliating. They need to treat new people better.
