Very people-focused company where, with all the typical challenges that come up for individuals, teams and the business, the employee comes first. This is a very talented team all around that is driving the company and product forward in a highly competitive and exciting market. A truly distributed company (for most parts of the organization) where large parts of the staff is sprinkled all over the world. The challenges and issues arising from that setup as well as the usual stuff is discussed and addressed openly. Great technology rooted in OSS but pushing the envelope further. Being in a company that can deliver solutions that are solving real problems that nobody else can solve is exciting, fun and a big responsibility.
Cons
Expect to see most of the typical growing pains for a company this size. Still experimenting and tuning processes, approaches and solutions. Change is a constant, and change can be hard at times, nothing special, and quite normal for an organization that tries to stay on top of an ever-changing market. The distribution of the employees makes communication hard at times, but also provides a lot of flexibility for work. Working from home may not be for everyone, even with the occasional face to face meetings, so keep that in mind.
