Pros

On a personal level, most co-workers are great. Opportunities to earn a bonus** Opportunity to work remotely sometimes Company happy hours and team dinners

Cons

Salaries are lower than many other companies in the area. They sell new hires on bonus potential but it's difficult for them to earn those bonuses without working lots of hours. No paid lunches. You end up working long hours to meet your utilization. You're required to bill at least 8 hours per day and not every hour is billable. Management gives little support to employees in the field. If things go wrong, it's entirely your fault. Helpdesk staff is overworked and they can't be utilized for some issues. Customers constantly complain about bills. Other departments do not tow the line. Company is very compartmentalized. Difficult to get things done. No team work between departments. "Not my job" mentality is pervasive. "Us and Them" between management and field staff. Management is always right.

We are glad to hear you enjoyed working with your fellow Dataprise staff members, the opportunity to earn bonuses and to do some remote work, and our company get-togethers. We are sorry to hear you did not feel our salaries are commensurate with other similar companies, however, we conduct regular salary surveys and feel our compensation levels are at or above market rate. While it is no secret that you must work very hard at Dataprise, we feel we have appropriate incentives in place for going above and beyond and putting in extra hours. Additionally, we have made some recent changes to the structure of our Help Desk to make the work-load more manageable and are it's an on-going process to address the silo's between departments. We appreciate your feedback and think you made a lot of great suggestions with how we can improve as a company. Thank you!
