Pros

Salary, if you enjoy being a micromanaged slave to your job. Having a company that prominent on your resume looks good as long as you're okay with sacrificing your happiness and being treated like a parasite.

Cons

Everything. Even the salary isn't worth the horrible way employees are treated. Micromanaging, nit-picking, backsliding on promises. Middle management is insecure and threatened by employees who actually know their trade. The female middle managers in this office have a fear of being outshined by their subordinates, regardless of their gender. A good manager hires people smarter and more talented than themselves and then embraces their accomplishments as it reflects positively on the manager. These middle managers at EORM feel threatened by their subordinates. In order to keep them in their place, they undercut them, second guesses everything they do and minimize their accomplishments. Subordinates are kept on a very short leash, micromanaged to death and their work questioned in front of the client. Extremely unprofessional. These employees aren't fresh out of college. I'm talking about certified professionals with a healthy decade of industry experience. The HR department is a disaster. Lying, backstabbing and rumor spreading. Think back to the Junior High lunchroom environment. That is the culture that is cultivated at the Southern CA EORM office. The most unprofessional work environment I have ever had the displeasure to work in. Most of my coworkers were miserable and got out as soon as they could. The managers run around the office with fake smiles on their faces. It's a wonder this place exists, but then again there are plenty of people who have little to zero aspirations for anything better and embrace the emotional abuse of upper management.
