Pros

Weekly pay, benefits, not too difficult to change shifts if needed. Lot of freebies (candy, snacks, travel mugs) from management handed out to staff on holidays and when cases are too damaged to ship. Enough hours the vast majority of the time. The lack of professional behavior (gossip, fights) and blind eye or indulgent behavior in management can be a welcome distraction from the monotony of the job. Health and safety training is thorough for what average workers are expected to do.

Cons

Most employees including management only have the faintest grasp understanding technology. There is very little little credit given to the couple of maintenance workers who literally keep the merge running some days. Most equipment is out of date verging on out of code. OSHA guidelines are held up to the light or stomped on depending on the day and manager. The lack of professional language and dress on the floor extends to pickers bragging about their workplace affairs, picking fights, and showing up intoxicated. Many of the "better" workers are only there because they have too many felonies to be hired elsewhere. Favoritism is key to advancement. Almost too easy to become a forklift operator and have had a couple accidents and a few close calls.

Pros

There has been a lot of change with the company in last two years. All the change has presented many growth opportunities and led to a positive environment. Coming to work every day is exciting and each day presents new challenges that are welcomed

Cons

Free Telehealth would be a great benefit to add. There are so many benefits to choose from here.

Pros

The four day a week schedule is the only reason you have any drivers left.

Cons

They will hire anyone, as long as you can hold a steering wheel, and push a hand cart around. Management is a joke, they openly degrade certain employees, in front of other employees. When calling with a problem, the usual response is, "I don't know." Very unprofessional. The trailers are loaded horribly, and they don't care. No matter how many times you complain about the loads, you know the next day is going to be worse. If you are anywhere near good at unloading the truck, your reward is going solo for the rest of your life, while drivers who work half as hard as you get help everyday, and we all are paid the same. They put too much stress and work on their good drivers. They don't appreciate hard-work, they just take advantage of you for working hard. They have written on the wall in the hallway, "our customers are second only to God." Which always makes me laugh when I see boxes wedged into the truck splitting open, and water at the base torn apart and falling everywhere. You can say all the inspiring things you want on the wall Eby-Brown, but your actions are the complete opposite. It's amazing you have any customers at all.
